Cindy A. Johnson

Joined 3 years ago from Sevierville, TN. Last activity 5 days ago.

I've loved to write as long as I can remember (which is a long time)!  Even as a very young child I wrote stories about animals and their families.

I'm excited to announce the publication of my first book, Alphamania: An Alphabet Resource for Teachers and Parents in January 2012 at http://smashwords.com/books/view/122048. It's available for a limited time only as a FREE download!

I love reading just about everything but especially mysteries. Flower and vegetable gardening, bird watching, the mountains and camping with my husband and teenage son are some of my favorite things. Actually, anything relating to nature is a draw for me.

I've lived in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains since 2006, after Katrina disrupted our lives and we'd had it with all of that. I absolutely LOVE living in the mountains!!!

I have a BA in English and an MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching). Teaching elementary school and serving as an administrator occupied most of my life for about 16 years.

These days I read and write all the time. I blog book reviews at http://readerjots.wordpress.com.

I recently launched my craft business online at http://smokymountainleafworks.com where I feature unique artwork crafted from Smoky Mountain area autumn leaves.
